So, yesterday was my birthday. I have to admit, it was pretty uneventful other than going out to eat at my favorite Italian restaurant. But, I didn't really expect that much. A couple of my friends called/emailed to say happy birthday, which I appreciated. And pretty much my whole family is here as well, so that's a bonus too.
Presents are always good, too. ;) I got this really pretty heart necklace and matching diamond-encrusted ring from my spectacularly awesome aunt, some makeup from this lady Jenni, who apparently is good friends with both my aunt and my dad, some money from my grandma, some clothes from my mom, and a book. (I'm the kind of girl that always manages to get a book, no matter where she goes.)
Today, we went to go have lunch with my cousin at his school. I forgot how LOUD elementary schoolers could be. But that was fun nevertheless. We're trying to decide what to do tonight, but first we (my aunt, uncle, dad, and I) have to find a sitter for the kiddos. We'll probably just stay here. I don't mind that much.
